The AFA Disaster Relief Program is a program put into place with the primary goal to assist with the temporary needs of anyone with birds that is impacted during a national disaster. The funds in this program are from donations by individuals as well as companies and organizations.
AFA is known for this relief program that has helped thousands of birds over the many years since it’s beginning in 1992, after the devastating hurricane Andrew in Miami Florida.
